This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.12.2017 and investigate the matter accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted by the second respondent. During enquiry, the petitioner has made a statement that the dispute between the parties will be settled by mutual understanding.

4. Recording the aforesaid statement made by the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the competent forum for appropriate relief.
