Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 10.11.2016 to the second respondent. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 10.11.2016 to the second respondent.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's complaint has been enquired into and subsequently, based on the statement made by both parties, the respondent police has closed the petitioner's complainant 'as action dropped'.

3.In view of the aforesaid submission, this criminal original petition is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
