ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to allot an alternative job of Office Helper to the petitioner, this writ petition has been filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 3.On notice, the second respondent filed a counter affidavit, wherein, paragraphs - 4 and 5 read as follows: "4.It is submitted that this respondents provide alternative employment upto the period of 27.09.2018. Now the writ petitioner appeared before the Thanjavur Medical Board on 02.11.2018. In medical Board Report it was stated that the left arm was affected. The doctor assessed 60% disability. for your kind perusal.

5.It is submitted that this respondent take steps to provide alternative employment and the file is put up for approval. The alternative employment will provide to him very soon."

4.Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
