PRAYER: To issue a Criminal Original Petition for direction, directing the Respondent No.1 to transfer the investigation in Crime No.631 of 2021 dated 18.10.2021 on the file of the Respondent NO.4 and entrusted the same tot the Respondent No.5 for further investigation or any other Competent Officer and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time period stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders directing the first Respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.631 of 2021 dated 18.10.2021 on the file of the fourth Respondent and entrusted the same to the fifth Respondent for further investigation or any other Competent Officer and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has 2/5

filed the final report before the Special Court, Madurai and the case was taken on file in S.S.C.No.21 of 2023.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed of as infructuous. If the petitioner is still aggrieved by the contents of the final report, he can workout his remedy through the appropriate proceedings. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 31.03.2023 NCC :
