O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking for a direction to the respondent to expedite investigation in Crime No.419 of 2014 and file a final report within the period prescribed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the second accused in Crime No.419 of 2014, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 427, 506(i), 109 IPC.

CRL OP(MD). No.4900 of 2020 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation has already been completed and final report was filed on 23.03.2020 before the Judicial Magistrate, Melur, but not yet taken on file.

4.Since, in this case final report has already been filed before the concerned Court, the matter become infructuous. However, considering the above facts, the concerned Judicial Magistrate is directed to proceed with the final report filed by the Investigating Officer immediately, as per rules.

5.With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
