Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2018. For Petitioner : Ms.Porkodi Karnan For Respondents : Mr.M.Rajarajan, G.A.

ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2018.

2.Heard Ms.Porkodi Karnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.With regard to the allotment of house built for T-sunami affected persons, there is a dispute among the brothers including the petitioner and in this regard, the writ petitioner has given representation to the respondents on 17.11.2018 and in this regard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wants that representation to be considered on merits and an order to that effect to be passed within a time frame.

4.Heard Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said representation of the petitioner would be decided on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing both the brothers.

5.Considering the said submission made by both sides, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: "The representation of the petitioner dated 17.11.2018 shall be considered by the respondents on merits and in accordance with law and an order to be passed thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, of course, after hearing the petitioner and his brother." 6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
