ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the petitioner's name and close the history sheet in H.S.No.250 of 2024 maintaining by the third respondent Police by following guidelines issued in the decisions in Sabari @ Sbarigiri Vs. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Annanagar (L & O) Range, Madurai City, Madurai and others reported in 2018 4 MLJ (Crl) 585 and Thirumagan Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Madurai District reported in 2020 (2) LW (Crl)-266, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2026.

2. This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 31.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
