3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned

Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the petitioners have filed these petitions challenging the Summons issued under Sections 161 & 91(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code. However, a case has been subsequently registered against them and others in Crime No.7 of 2018, on 24.04.2018, under Sections 120B, 420 & 506(1) of the Indian Penal Code, before the DCB Police Station, Dindigul.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
