The present petition is filed to condone the delay of 3 days in preferring the aforesaid criminal appeal against the judgment made in CC.No.261/2019, dated 15.12.2025, by the learned Additional District Judge, 1st Additional Special Court for NDPS Act cases, Madurai.

2.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record, 3.The petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, states that due to the difficulty faced by him in mobilizing the funds and in the process, the delay of 3 days occurred in filing the appeal. The petitioner states that the delay is neither wanton nor willful, but only due to the aforesaid bona fide reasons. Hence, he prayed for condoning the delay.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the petition is ordered and the delay of 3 days is condoned.

5.Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
