ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 468 and 471 of I.P.C, in Crime No.256 of 2017, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner obtained passport during the year 2005 from the Regional Passport Office Trichy. Thereafter, he went to Dubai for employment. Thereafter, he was transferred to Jordan.

Again he returned back to his native place and when he was proceeded to go to Jordan, the Jordan Immigration Authority, recovered his passport and declared as bogus. Accordingly, he came back to India. On verification, it is found that his own brother obtained a forged passport in his name by using ration card copy issued in Sambiranipatti. Thereafter, when he enquired with the same before the passport office, the passport office advised him to file a complaint before the respondent police against the petitioner. Therefore, the present complaint has been filed.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner is innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State submits that the petitioner by using his brother's ration card and name obtained passport and he deprived of the rights of his own brother. He would further submit that the investigation is pending. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner.
