: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Na.Ka.De.No.1/26598/2020 dated 08.03.2021 on the file of the respondent No.1 insofar as the petitioner's village "Nedumaram" concerned and quash the same as illegal and consequently direction directing the respondents to provide permission to the petitioner's villagers for conducting the Manjuvirattu on 23.03.2021 at Sri Karuppar Thidal, Oorkkulathanpatti, Thirupathur Taluk Nedumaram Sivagangai District within the time period stipulated by this Court. By the impugned order, the request of the petitioner was rejected with respect to law and order problem, increase in COVID-19 and existence of 144 proceedings. The COVID-19 though is on the rise, is less preventive in the District of Sivaganga.
