O R D E R
This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the third respondent Police to complete the investigation and to a file a final report in Crime No.143 of 2015 on the file of the 3rd respondent Police within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner states that he lodged a complaint as against certain individuals and that the same was registered in Crime No. 143 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states though the case was registered in the year 2015, there was no progress in the investigation and that therefore, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner is constrained to file this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the investigation is under process and that the final report is likely to be filed within a period of two months.
4. Having regard to the facts and circumstance of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the 3rd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report in Crime No. 143 of 2015, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
