O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.283 of 2017 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the investigation is under process and that the final report is likely to be filed within a period of three months.

Having regard to the nature of complaint and the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report in Crime No. 283 of 2017, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
