This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent Police to file a final report in Crime No. 879 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the charge sheet has already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani and that it is yet to be taken on file.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, no further investigation is contemplated. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
