This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2018 and also to direct the second respondent to conduct proper investigation in the death of the petitioner's son viz., Premkumar and file final report.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

06.04.2018 to the respondents seeking direction to conduct proper investigation in the death of the petitioner's son viz., Premkumar and file final report. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner's representation is pending, the same shall be considered by the respondents on merits and in accordance with law.

5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought in this petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the petitioner is directed to produce a copy of the representation dated 06.04.2018 along with a copy of this order before the first respondent. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
