This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 19.02.2018.

2. According to the petitioner, the proposed accused has cheated the petitioner before the Registering Authority by producing the forged documents. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint before the respondent police and since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4. Considering the fact that the enquiry is still pending, the respondent police is directed to enquire the complaint made by the petitioner. After enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is directed to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.
