ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking orders to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.212 of 2012 pending on the file of District Munsif Court, Kodaikanal, within the time fixed by this Court.

2. The revision petitioner is the 3rd defendant and the respondents 5 to 7 are the defendants 2,4 and 5 respectively. The respondents 1 to 4, who are the plaintiffs have filed the suit for declaration and permanent injunction.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner would submit that the plaintiffs have been filing Interlocutory Applications one after another in order to drag on the proceedings and that since the suit is of the year 2012 the trial has to be expedited.

4. The High Court has already sent Circulars directly to the Courts to give priority for the disposal of old cases, more particularly, more than seven years old cases.

5. Considering the fact that the suit is of the year 2012 and 8 years have already been lapsed, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the learned District Munsif, Kodaikanal for early disposal. Accordingly, the learned District Munsif, Kodaikanal, is hereby directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No. 212 of 2012 pending on his file, within a period of four months from the date of resumption of the regular functioning of the Court, on merits and in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
