Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct "Manjuvirattu" on 24.04.2018 in pursuant to the "Sri Maikannudaiyal" Temple festival situated in Viralimalai, Pudukottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2018 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
