PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to rescue the petitioner's minor daughter / detenue namely, Abinaya, daughter of Sivakumar, aged about 15 years from the third respondent and produce the person or body of the detenue before this Court.

The petitioner seeks production of her minor daughter, namely, Abinaya, who is aged about 15 years. She had suspected the involvement of the third respondent in the disappearance of her daughter on 06.03.2022.

2.The detenue has now been secured and produced before us. We have interacted with her. She would state that she went along with the third respondent and she was living in the house of the sister of the third respondent at Dindigul. She would also state that she was not kidnapped. She has now expressed her desire to go with her mother.

H.C.P.(MD) No.417 of 2022 3.It is also stated that the third respondent is also a juvenile. He has been remanded in judicial custody and now released on bail. Since the detenue has now been secured, we do not see any reason in retaining this petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
