Prayer: Criminal Original petition - filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent police to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein dated 13.03.2018 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein dated 13.03.2018 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner has been enquired into by the Sub-Inspector of Police and the same was closed. He has also produced a copy of the closure report dated 28.03.2018. The Inspector of Police appeared before this Court and made a statement that the complaint was closed.

4. On a perusal of the closure report, it is seen that no acceptable statement was given by the proposed accused. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner requested this Court that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh

complaint to the Inspector of Police, Bodi Taluk Police Station, Theni District today itself.

6. In view of the submission made by both sides, the petitioner is permitted to make a complaint before the Inspector of Police, Bodi Taluk Police Station, Theni District and if any such complaint is received from the petitioner, the same shall be enquired and considered by the Inspector of Police, Bodi Taluk Police Station, Theni District, on merits and in accordance with law.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
