The learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner is the de facto complainant in Crime No.181 of 2022 pending on the file of the Respondent. The Petitioner had filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking direction against the Respondent to complete the investigation and lay the final report at the earliest before the Court concerned.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions of the Respondent, would submit that already, on 19.01.2024, the charge sheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Kodaikanal.
