O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed directing the 3rd Respondent to issue Non Traceable Certificate relating to the sale deed bearing Doc.No.1936 of 1996, dated 28.03.1996 registered at Srirangam Registrar Office.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in old survey No.160/2 in new survey No.160/2A1A1A through a registered Doc.No.1936 of 1996, dated 28.03.1996 registered at Srirangam Registrar Office. While so, on 01.07.2024 at about 11.00 a.m., for the purpose of mortgaging the property, he went to a stationary shop to take photocopy of the sale deed and he misplaced the same. In this regard, he gave a complaint before the 4th respondent on 04.07.2024 and also lodged an online complaint on 25.01.2025. However, the same were not acted upon by the respondents. Hence, this petition. 2/5

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has made an online complaint on 25.01.2025, thereafter, he did not appear for the enquiry and produce the necessary documents. If the petitioner appears before the 3rd respondent along with the relevant documents, they will conduct enquiry and dispose the same within a period of 15 days. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

5.In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court hereby directs the petitioner to appear before the 3rd respondent on 03.03.2025 with all relevant records, thereafter, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and dispose the same within a period of 15 days, from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

6.With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
