This Writ Petition has been filed to direct 2nd respondent to give permission with protection to conduct the cultural function Aaadal - Paadal at Keeranipatty Temple Stage in connection with the Chithirai Pongal Festival of Arulmigu Sree Vellai Vinayagar-Sree Mandhaiamman Temple, Keeranipatty, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District, scheduled on 30.04.2018 based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner as one of the active members of Keeranipatty Friends Association. This Court has entertained the writ petition in W.P.(MD).No.7911 of 2018, dated 12.04.2018, wherein, this Court has directed the members https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Vizha Committee and Office Bearers or the trustees of the temple or the Organisers of the festival to approach the authorities concerned for getting permission for conducting cultural programme. Therefore, this writ petition filed by the petitioner, being a member of Keeranipatty Friends Association cannot be entertained. However, it is open to the members of Vizha Committee, Office Bearers or the trustees of the concerned temple or the Organisers of the festival to make an application before the authorities concerned and in the event of filing such an application, the respondents shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law. 4.With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
