This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's loan application, dated 07.01.2019 under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, he is eligible to avail loan under the aforementioned scheme. He has submitted a loan application on 07.01.2019. Since the said loan application has not been considered till date, he has filed this Writ Petition. 3.Heard Mr.A.Robinson, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Linga Durai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.G.Radhakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.4748 of 2022 4.Mr.G.Radhakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent, on instructions, would submit that by a communication, dated 17.05.2021 to the petitioner, the respondent Bank had intimated the petitioner about the three requirements for grant of loan under the aforementioned scheme and if the petitioner is able to comply with those requirements, the respondent Bank is willing to sanction the loan to the petitioner.
5.The learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to comply with the three requirements mentioned by the third respondent in its communication, dated 17.05.2021.
6.After recording the statement made by the learned respective Counsels, this Court directs the petitioner to submit the documents/clarification mentioned in the communication of the third respondent Bank, dated 17.05.2021 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to process the petitioner's loan application under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter.
7.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
