This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned proceedings in C.C.No.271 of 2017, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli, for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 406 of I.P.C and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

She is identified by her counsel as well as by Mrs.M.Anitha, Head Constable of Town All Women Police Station, Tirunelveli City. She has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings. Therefore, the impugned proceedings stand quashed and the criminal original petition is allowed.
