O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.According to the petitioners, the second respondent police is threatening the petitioners and indulging in illegal activities for the purpose of extracting money from them. Hence, the petitioners have filed this petition, seeking direction as stated above.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the second respondent has received a complaint from the third respondent, wife of the first petitioner, in respect of which, enquiry is pending. It is further submitted that the respondent police will conduct the enquiry in accordance with law.

4.Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The petitioners shall appear before the respondent police for interrogation as and when required.
