O R D E R

The petitioner, with a grievance that the quarry operations conducted in the adjacent land are causing damages to the petitioner's crops planted in Old Patta Nos.130 and 888 and New Patta No.2252, Pula No.791/2, 793 and New Patta No.2916, Pula No.846/2 situated at Ayankollankondan Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District, has submitted a representation to the respondents on 10.06.2022, however, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Considering the fact that the representation made by the petitioner on 10.06.2022 has not been considered so far, this Court directs the second respondent, namely, the Assistant Director, Geology 2/5

and Mines, Virudhunagar District, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2022, ascertain the condition of the quarry on the adjacent to the petitioner's land and ensure that the petitioner's crops are not affected and take a decision as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
