ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Special court for S.C/S.T (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Trichy, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.59/2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. Since there is no adverse order passed against the 3rd respondent, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that due to a petty dispute between the petitioners and the de facto complainant, the petitioners used abusive language towards the de facto complainant and also critized the caste name of the de facto complainant and attacked the de facto complainant and also 2/5

threatened them with dire consequences. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioners.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Special court for S.C/S.T (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Trichy, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.59 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. The petitioner shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
