ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 28.02.2018 and take necessary action against the proposed accused.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner with some other persons were returning from sabarimalai and one Karthikeyan was driving the car in a rash and negligent manner and caused accident. Due to the accident, one person died and the petitioner became unconscious and hence the petitioner has lodged a complaint against one Karthikeyan before the respondents on 28.02.2018, but sofar, no action has been taken. Hence, he filed this present Criminal Original Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

6. With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
