ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 23.08.2017 and consequently, direct the first respondent to supervise and investigate the same.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the petitioner's complaint was enquired by the second respondent on 05.05.2018 and during the enquiry, the petitioner has made a statement that the dispute was settled in the presence of elders and hence, not to proceed with the complaint. Therefore, further action in the complaint was dropped and accordingly, the complaint was closed.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
