O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuing a direction to the first respondent to take action based on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 14.11.2017.

2. According to the petitioner, a complaint has been made on 21.09.2015 alleging that the petitioner was cheated, while purchasing the land to the tune of Rs.84,00,000/- and the same was not considered by the first respondent / Police and hence, he sent a remainder on 14.11.2017 and the same is still pending. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's complaint, dated 21.09.2015 was enquired into and the same has been closed on 13.06.2016, by recording the statement that they would settle the issue before the competent Court and hence, the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

4. In view of the fact that earlier complaint was considered and the same has been closed, nothing survives for

adjudication in this Writ Petition.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. If the petitioner is having any grievance, he shall approach the competent authority to redress his grievances. No costs.
