------ I am to state that it has been stated in your letter in D.No.1587 dated 29.10.2018 that after expiry of some time, the deposition copies in the calender case No.199 of 2007 have been destroyed. In normal procedure, when a case is pending before the court, the Appeal Intimation Register will be duly reflected regarding the pendency of the appeal/Revision case. When that being the case, it is not unable to understand that how the concerned Magistrate has ordered for destruction of the old records, as if no appeal has been preferred. Hence I am directed to call for remarks from you as to how back papers especially deposition copies have been destroyed, when the revision case is pending before the Hon'ble High Court.
