O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to direct the third respondent to give police protection for her life and limb of the petitioner and her family members and by taking action against the proposed accused persons based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 17.02.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, there is a property dispute pending between the petitioner and one Raju in respect of Plot No.54, Ward No.9, Vanarapettai, Thirukurippu Thondar Street. Tirunelveli. Already civil suits have also been filed in O.S.No.554 of 1994 and the same was dismissed and again another suit was filed in O.S.No.78 of 1998 and the same was decreed. Due to civil dispute, the said Raju along with some other persons entered into the petitioner's house and damaged so many things and also caused life threat, thereby, he lodged a complaint on 17.02.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that there is a property dispute pending between the parties and thereby, already civil suits were filed and criminal cases are also pending against the parties. In the mean time, the third respondent received the petitioner's representation, dated 17.02.2025 and the same is under enquiry. The respondent police will complete the enquiry within a week.
4.Since the petitioner's representation, dated 17.02.2025 is pending before the third respondent, he is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of this order in accordance with law. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
