ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct proper investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.481 of 2014, within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of one year and seven months from the date of registration of the case, the respondent Police did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that after investigation, the final report has been filed as mistake of fact on 03.10.2014 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, 5.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the closure report has not been served upon the defacto complainant by the Court. Under such circumstances, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi is directed to serve the final report filed by the respondent on the defacto complainant, if not served already as per the record of the Court. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in accordance with law.
