O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the 2nd respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.374 of 2016 and to file a final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner.

3. It is stated in the petition that the petitioner has lodged a complaint as against few individuals and that the complaint was registered in Crime No.374 of 2016 by the second respondent police, for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 452, 324, 506(ii) and 380 of IPC. It is further stated in the petition that there is no progress in the investigation and that so far no action was taken by the second respondent. In these circumstances, the petitioner has preferred this petition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the investigation is under process and that the final report is likely to be filed within a period of three months.

5. Recording the said submission, the above Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and to file a Final Report in Crime https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.374 of 2016, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
