PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the 3rd respondent to grant patta to the purchaed land situated in S.No.60/3 of Avaniyapuram, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District and its extent of 2 cents, 328 sq.fts., (1200 sq.fts.,) by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2020, within a period of stipulated time as fixed by this Court. ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that pursuant to the directions of this Court dated 16.03.2020, an enquiry has been conducted and the 3rd respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2020, had rejected the petitioner's request for issuing patta to the land in S.No.60/3 situated at Avaniyapuram, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.5149 of 2020 District. A report is readily available for submitting the same before this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a fair request before this Court that the said rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent may be served to the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that a copy of the said rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent shall be communicated to the learned counsel for the petitioner, within a period of three weeks from today. 4.By recording such submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent before the appropriate forum, if he is so advised. No costs.
