ORDER

The petitioners have filed this petition to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.507 of 2022 in Crime No.133 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Thottiyam, pending against them.

2. Today, when this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that there is a possibility of compromise between the parties.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the petitioners are accused Nos.3, 11 and 13 and the other accused are not before this Court.

4. Since this petition is filed without adding other accused persons, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition that the issue has been compromised between the parties.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh petition along with other accused persons. 10.04.2024 NCC : Yes / No.
