ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the Respondent and his subordinates not to harass the Petitioners in the guise of enquiry and to follow the due process of law and pass such further or other orders.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent Police frequently called the petitioners and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioners are accused in Cr.No.18 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b) and 506(ii) I.P.C. and Section 4 of TNWH Act and the petitioners were called only for enquiry in respect of that crime and that the respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioners. However, he gave an undertaking that if at all the presence of the petitioners are required, the respondent would call the petitioners for enquiry only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
