O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction the loan amount of Rs. 8,00,000/- from the petitioner's E.P.F. Account.

2. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is working as Special Grade Tradesman in the respondent Corporation. The petitioner's daughter marriage function is going to be conducted on 24.03.2023. Hence, the petitioner has made an application to the respondents on 17.02.2023, seeking loan amount of Rs.8,00,000/-. Since the said application has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2023 and pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.02.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
