ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned proceedings in S.C.No.143 of 2019, on the file of the Magalir Neethimandram/Fast Track Mahila Court, Thoothukudi, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 307, 324, 355, 352 and 506(2) of I.P.C and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002.
2.The de-facto complainant/Dhilip Kumar and the other victims, namely, Jeyalakshmi, Saranya, Saranraj and Sethurani are also present in person before me. They are identified by their counsel as well as by Mr.R.Kalipandi, Head Constable of the first respondent police station. Crl.O.P(MD).No.4626 of 2020 been registered in Crime No.41 of 2018, which culminated in the final report and taken on file as S.C.No.285 of 2018, before the Assistant Sessions Judge, Kovilpatti. The petitioners herein have no objection for quashing the said proceedings. Thiru.Gurusamy @ Ravi, who is the first petitioner herein/de-facto complainant in the other case. Both the parties are present in person before me and both of them submitting in unison that both the cases can be quashed. Therefore, while allowing this Criminal Original Petition, I quash the proceedings in S.C.No.143 of 2019, before the Magalir Neethimandram/Fast Track Mahila Court, Thoothukudi and S.C.No.285 of 2018, on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Kovilpatti. 3.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
