[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.V.Nirmal Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 5 & 6.

2. Considering the seriousness of the allegations made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and the materials that have been produced, we find that it is a fit case where an enquiry should be conducted by the appropriate Authority, namely, the District Collector, Trichy District. Hence, there will be a mandamus directing the District Collector, Trichy District, to enquire into the allegations of the petitioner made in his representation, which have been referred in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
