(Order of the Court was made by S.SRIMATHY, J.) This Writ Petition is filed for a direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's two years foundation course offered by Annamalai University, which is equivalent to the Higher Secondary course offered by the State Board of School Examination, Tamil Nadu, in the light of the G.O.Ms.No. 219, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Personnel-R) Department dated 30.03.1988 and thereby direct the respondents to enroll his name as an Advocate on the roll of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, based on his application dated 10.10.2019 submitted to the first respondent through online within the time limit stipulated by this Court. 2/6
2.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents have received online application, however, the petitioner has completed his L.L.B Degree in Siddhartha Law College, Dehradun, a College affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Therefore, the said certificate ought to be verified and it will take time. 3.It is the apprehension of the petitioner that since two years foundation course was completed and thereafter he has completed L.L.B, therefore, he will not be considered by the respondents. 4.This Court, without expressing any opinion on merits, is directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
