ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.119 of 2015 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.119 of 2015, dated 22.03.2015 for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 323 and 307 of I.P.C., by the respondent and that a counter case was also registered in Crime No.118 of 2015. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that this Court earlier in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1513 of 2017, by an order dated 19.06.2017 has directed the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.119 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible. Despite the direction by this Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

was no progress and that therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and that final report is likely to be filed within a period of two months.

5. Recording the said statement, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.119 of 2015 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
