: Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose the representation, dated 30.08.2019 for issue of community certificate to the sons of the petitioner, namely, Gogulakrishnan bearing online application No.TN-520190605598 and Hari Subbiah bearing online application No.TN-520190605452 expeditiously.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) This Writ Petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to issue community certificate to the sons of petitioner.

2.It is not in dispute that the petitioner made applications for issuing community certificate to the petitioner's sons. The present Writ Petition is only to dispose of the applications submitted by the petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that based on the recommendation of the Village Administrative Officer and the Revenue Inspector, the applications submitted by the petitioner were rejected. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader has not produced before this Court any order as such. The learned Additional Government Pleader has relied upon the status of the applications, as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.5291 of 2020 generated from the website indicating that the applications submitted by the petitioner were rejected. The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that no order copy is communicated to the petitioner.

4.In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that there cannot be a direction to the respondent to dispose of the applications of the petitioner, after the decision taken by the respondent.

Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. The respondent is directed to communicate the order of rejection within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the orders of rejection of applications / representations submitted by the petitioner. No costs.
