The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is a Diploma holder in Computer Science. The Petitioner was unemployed. Taking into consideration of those circumstances, the Respondents 2 and 3 approached the Petitioner and offered job in Bengaluru in a Network Marketing Company and for that they sought money from the Petitioner. The Petitioner paid some amount in installments. He was taken to Bengaluru, where he was made to stay in a building for six months and he was not offered any salary and he did not go for any work also. Then, he returned home and lodged a complaint with the first Respondent. He filed a private complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kulithalai in C.M.P.No.1806/2021.
After due enquiry, the learned Judicial Magistrate had directed the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch to conduct enquiry and if in the enquiry, any cognizable offence is made out, register a case and proceed accordingly. In the light of the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kulithalai in Cr.M.P.No.1806 of 2021, the first Respondent registered a case in Crime No.14 of 2022 for offences under Section 417, 420 and 506(1) IPC on 21.04.2022.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that in the year 2022, a final report was laid before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kulithalai, in e-filing No.LTN20220002287C202400009 and the same is yet to be taken on file. 3.Recording the said submission, this criminal original petition is closed.
