Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's request for correction of date of birth while re-issuing his passport. A decision shall be taken by the respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent need not be bound by the stand already taken while giving instruction in the matter. 3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
