Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 26.02.2020 and quash the same as illegal consequently direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct "Kabadi Tournament" scheduled to be held on 14.03.2020 at about 10.00 p.m. to 15.03.2020 at 10.00 a.m at M.S.Mani Garden, Vadamalai Samuthiram, Vickramasingapuram, Tirunelveli District. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants to conduct the petition mentioned event. But then, his request has been rejected by the impugned order.

3. I went through the contents of the same. I am of the view that no objection can be taken for holding the petition mentioned event.

4.Therefore, the second respondent is directed to issue proceedings afresh permitting the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event. It is of course open to the second respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions as regards timings and other aspects. The petitioner undertakes to abide by the same.
