ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned proceedings of the respondent dated 10.01.2026 and consequently, to direct the respondent to issue Patta to the petitioner for his lands comprised in Survey No.91/5E-9.00 Ares and Survey No. 91/5G-9.00 Ares, situated at Paarapathi Village, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, by considering his application dated 10.01.2026.

2. A perusal of the impugned proceedings of the respondent reveals that the petitioner's request for issuance of patta was rejected based on the report of the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar. However, it has been observed therein that the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application after rectifying the defects.

3. In the event of the petitioner submitting a fresh application along with all the necessary and relevant documents, the respondent shall consider and dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to all necessary parties concerned, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of such application.
