This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2022, in the light of the proceedings passed by the second respondent in O.Mu.No.361/2022/A4 dated 10.02.2022, within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself, dispensing with the notice to the fourth respondent, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against him.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the name of the fourth respondent was wrongly entered in the patta in respect of the properties belonging to the petitioner and his brothers, which devolved upon them from their mother by way of succession. Therefore, the petitioner, along Page No. 2 of 5

with his brothers, submitted a representation dated 07.01.2022 to the second respondent seeking issuance of patta in their names. The second respondent, vide proceedings in O.Mu.No.361/2022/A4 dated 10.02.2022, directed the third respondent to take appropriate action for issuance of joint patta. Thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents, on instructions, would submit that the second respondent has already forwarded the petitioner's representation to the third respondent and that appropriate orders would be passed by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks.

5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to conclude the enquiry in O.Mu.No. 361/2022/A4 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fourth respondent Page No. 3 of 5
