ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti, to expedite the trial in D.V.No.9 of 2016 and to dispose of the case within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The petitioner is the second respondent in the proceedings in D.V.A.No.9 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti and the first respondent herein is the daughter-in-law of the petitioner and she has filed a petition under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act,2005.

4. Having regard to the nature of the allegations and the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- " The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti, is directed to expedite the trial in D.V.A.No.9 of 2016 and to dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
